Take me back to the farm!

Agricultural tourism aka ag tourism is a growing interest in Washington and around the nation.

There is nothing like visiting a farm and other related businesses to really "grow" your understanding of agriculture and farming in Washington.

We want to make it easy for you!  Check out our map below and visit a farm near you.  Even better - find a few farms in one area of the state and take a self-made ag tour!  Be sure to check out our calendar for special events, too!
If you live around Puget Sound, click on the picture at left to search for farms and farm products near you.

What's Ag Tourism anyway?

"Agricultural tourism" refers to the act of visiting a working farm or any agricultural, horticultural, or agribusiness operation for the purpose of enjoyment, education, or active involvement in the activities of the farm or operation.

A toast to Washington!

The Washington State Wine Commission and the Washington Beer Commission have a fantastic websites, including interactive maps where you can find wineries and breweries so we haven't included them here.

To market, to market...

We don't have farmers markets on our site, but the Washington State Farmer's Market Association has an excellent interactive map where you can find markets throughout the state.  You can even search by day of the week, city, county, or payment methods accepted!  Check it out!
